Welcome COmath members
January 14, 2008
Greetings! Here is our new blog site. As you can see we will be able to both provide and receive information using this format as well as share, store and discuss learning, information or changes in the mathematics landscape. Additionally we can use this site to conduct our book study or link to a more appropriate tool for online learning.

Great idea to set up this site. You’ve done well. This will be a good addition for Colorado Math Teachers. We were one of the first states to have an open mailing liist which anyone interested in K-12 mathematics could subscribe to. It started using a server at CSU connected with the Adventures in Supercomputing project funded by the D.O.E. It was handed off to CDE in 2000 and grew with use by Glenn Bruckhart for assessment news, myself for MathStar, other consultants at CDE, CCTM, RMPBS, CML and individual math educators with news to share. Now in 2008, Colorado continues to be on the leading technology edge with its own blog.
